Revamped existing app with fresh UI, exploring different design styles and creating new icons, illustrations, and color scheme while retaining functionality. Inspired by various sources to ensure a visually appealing and functional update.
DESIGN PROCESS
Opted for Abstract Minimalism to transform UI, emphasizing simplicity, clean lines, and a monochromatic palette with accent colors. Created a moodboard to establish the app's overall aesthetic and guide the design process. Researched various design styles to ensure the chosen style aligned with the app's purpose and target audience.

Streamlined UI from image-heavy and information-laden design to simplified, geometric elements with a two-toned color palette and vibrant CTAs. Developed a Style Tile to maintain design consistency across color schemes, typography, imagery, and iconography. Achieved minimalist and artistic UI, retaining core features for a clear and user-friendly experience. Design process ensured cohesive transformation and harmonious aesthetics.


DESIGN ITERATIONS
Designed UIs for app pages, incorporating Abstract Minimalism style guided by the Style Tile. Utilized Figma to create all visible illustrations and elements. Iteratively reviewed and refined UIs to optimize usability while preserving minimalist and artistic aesthetics, ensuring justice to app features.

FINAL OUTCOME
Redesign process enhanced my understanding of designing details aligned with the chosen aesthetic. Overcoming challenges of transforming a fitness app to a minimalist, artistic style, I justified the design while preserving usability. Emphasized the significance of a structured design process for harmonious transformation of every element in the application.

This new design style brings a fresh and modern look to the application, while still maintaining its core features and functionality.
